
Behavior Technician
Job Description
Leena Care partners with schools to deliver evidence-based behavioral support for students with autism and other learning differences. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, helping students build communication, social, and academic skills within the classroom setting.
Job Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as directed by a supervising BCBA
Record accurate and detailed data on student behavior and progress
Support students in achieving IEP goals during academic and social activities
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure consistency and safety
Participate in regular supervision and ongoing professional development
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all school settings
Qualifications
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental differences preferred
Ability to follow structured programs and respond calmly to challenging behavior
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
RBT credential a plus (training provided if not yet certified)
Schedule & Compensation
Full-time or part-time positions available
School-day schedule aligned with district hours
