Job Description

Leena Care partners with schools to provide consistent, high-quality support for students with autism and other learning differences. As an Instructional Assistant, you’ll work directly within classrooms to help students meet academic and behavioral goals under the guidance of a BCBA, special education teacher, or classroom lead.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students during classroom instruction and activities

  • Implement behavior and learning strategies outlined by supervising staff

  • Collect data on student progress and behavior throughout the day

  • Assist with transitions, routines, and reinforcement systems

  • Support the classroom environment to maintain safety and engagement

  • Communicate observations and progress to the supervising teacher or BCBA

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school or special education setting

  • Ability to follow behavior plans and instructional guidance with consistency

  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills

  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred
